Two Virginia Lawmakers Attend Ceremony

U.S. Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner joined Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley for the annual 9/11 Observance Ceremony at the Pentagon on Sunday, Sept. 11.

Ceremony Honors Victims, Families

The ceremony honored the victims and families of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, including the 184 people who were killed at the Pentagon.

Officials Speak, Wreath Laid

Kaine, Warner, Austin and Milley all spoke at the ceremony, and a wreath was laid at the Pentagon Memorial.
