French Open expectations low for world No. 1

WEB Novak Djokovic says he does not want to open Pandora's box by revealing the reasons behind his below-par form this year. The world No. 1 - a record 24-time Grand Slam winner - has endured a difficult start to the season, losing in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open and the last 16 of the Dubai Championships.

Now, ahead of the French Open - the second Grand Slam tournament of the year - Djokovic says he is feeling "embarrassed" by how low his expectations are.

"I don't want to open Pandora's box," said Djokovic. "There are many things that have happened in the last few months that have affected me. But I don't want to talk about them now. I just want to focus on the French Open and try to play my best."
